Located in the Tahoe National Forrest, this lake is rated as one of the best boat-in camping lakes. There are two boat-in campground and boaters are allowed to create their own primitive camp sites. This lake has the benefit of the water level being a little more stable than many other reservoirs. Swimming is good, and water-skiing and jet skiing are permitted.
